2020-21 Pass Pricing

For the 2020-21 academic year, bus passes will be awarded and made available for purchase to families who complete a lottery signup sheet.  Submissions for the lottery must be submitted by June 1, 2020.   For more information on the terms and conditions of the lottery, please visit the lottery page here.

Due to the current health pandemic, yellow bus ridership may be significantly reduced to accommodate social distancing guidelines.  Marin Transit will be working with the county and school district to ascertain potential impact and schedule changes.  After schedules have been finalized, families who have submitted a lottery signup sheet will receive an email with a link to purchase their awarded routes.  Families will be given 7 days to complete their purchase.  Unpurchased passes will be made available for purchase to the next person on the priority list.

Once available, passes can be purchased online using a Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover credit card. AM and PM passes are sold separately.  For a round trip, you will need to choose an AM product plus a PM product and add them both to your cart before completing the check-out procedure.

If you have an outstanding balance from the prior year's purchase, then you are not allowed to purchase a pass for the new school year until the outstanding balance has been paid.

Annual passes are $490.00 each way, which breaks down to about $2.72 per trip. All passes can be purchased online using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit card.
